First Reddit post after lurking for a while! Anyway, within a month, I've been diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and today I have had blood test results back confirming a diagnosis of PCOS. I guess im just posting to try and find out more about these. I was sort of just diagnosed with these and not given any information. The idea behind the Vicks is that it encourages the boil/cyst to open up and drain. The stinging was probably due to the boil opening up and some of the Vicks getting inside the wound.
